IMPORTANT RACE NOTES
Kids 2.5km – the children will be running a loop close to the start/finish area. We have marshals on the course, a leader in front and a sweeper at the back. Children are welcome to run alone or with an adult. There is no charge for parents to run the course, however adults will not receive a medal unless they have registered. Children must be wearing a race bib to collect a medal at the finish line. Have fun! This is not a timed event, children are encouraged to participate and have fun.
Timing for 5km/10km/21km is being delivered by Chris Lark from Running Works.
The 21km course is two laps of the full course. Before heading out on your second lap you will need to go over the timing mat.
The 10km course is one lap of the full course.
The 5km course is one smaller loop.
The courses will be marked with the turn around points, an aid station and car park marshals.
There will be toilets at the start/finish line. Please use the toilets provided and respect the land.
Keep left. There will be two way traffic at some points therefore important to make room for oncoming runners and runners passing you from behind.
There is no mandatory equipment, however we recommend you carry 500ml water and your own nutrition. Carrying a phone is recommended in case of emergency. Please add our contact numbers however not compulsory.
We strive to be an environmentally friendly event and encourage you to bring your own cup. However we will have a small supply available.
All finishers will receive a medal.
